How to print specific items on an orders ticket

Tunder allows you to print orders tickets for order preparation, for example in the kitchen or at the bar.

You can configure:

• a printer that prints only the Customer receipt
• a printer that prints only Orders ticket
• or a printer that prints both Customer receipt and Orders ticket

You can also create more advanced setups with multiple printers. For example:

• a printer in the kitchen
• a printer at the bar
• a printer for Customer receipt

You can then choose which items or categories should appear on each Orders ticket.

1. Add a printer

To start, you need to add a printer in Tunder.

Go to:

Settings → Printers → Add printer

You can connect a printer using:

• Bluetooth
• Wifi, ethernet

If the printer is connected to the same network as your device, Tunder can automatically detect it.

Enable Search printers to scan printers connected to your router.

If the printer does not appear, you can also use Search by IP address.

2. Configure the printer

Once the printer is added, open the Printer settings.

In the Type of ticket section you can enable:

• Customer receipt
• One item per ticket
• Orders ticket

An Orders ticket is typically used for orders preparation (kitchen, bar...).

You can enable several ticket types depending on your setup.

3. Choose which items should print

In the Order options section, tap Print all items.

This allows you to select which items should appear on the Orders ticket.

You can select:

• individual Items

• or Categories

Only the selected items will appear on the Orders ticket.

This selection only applies to order tickets.

4. Example

In this example, the printer is configured to print only:

• Ice cream
• Soda

A sale contains:

• 1 Burger
• 1 Fries
• 1 Ice cream
• 1 Soda

When the sale is completed:

Customer receipt prints:

• Burger
• Fries
• Ice cream
• Soda

Orders ticket prints:

• Ice cream
• Soda

5. Print automatically

You can enable Print automatically in the printer settings.

When this option is enabled, the tickets linked to this printer will print automatically when a sale is completed.

This may include:

• the Customer receipt
• the Orders ticket
• or both depending on your configuration.
